‘Hassan Omar Was A Failure,’ Wiper Leaders Hit Back At Former Secretary General

Wiper leaders have hit back at former party secretary general, Omar Hassan saying he was right to resign as he did not deliver the votes as required of him.

Speaking at the Parliament Buildings, the legislators said Omar had under-performed in the August 8 election.

”He came from Mombasa and Wiper did not win any seat,” one Mp said.

”He took responsibility for his failure and resigned. That is how it should be.”

They assured their supporters that Hassan’s replacement was going to be a better leader. They also maintained that the party was intact in NASA and is confident in producing the next Deputy President.

Hassan resigned as the party’s secretary general on Thursday citing personal issues.

The Wiper leaders have also vowed to throw monetary weight behind Raila Odinga’s presidential campaign.

Newly elected Mps will give 200,000 as the others offered to give a whooping 500,000.
