France based IT firm, O.T Morpho has said that it still does not have a contract with the IEBC to provide IT assistance in readiness for the repeat elections slated for October 17.
Speaking to BBC, the firm’s Chief Operating Officer Fredric Beylier said the commission was yet to ask the firm for the cost of fresh polls.
”We don’t have contract with them (IEBC) for the next election yet,” the COO said.
“If we had the contract by now, and assuming that the Supreme Court does not recommend any technical change in its ruling, we’d need up to the end of October to reconfigure our systems for the repeat elections.”
NASA has alleged that the firm aided in rigging the August 8 election in favour of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Raila Odinga on Sunday accused the firm together with Safran of receiving bribes hence bungling the polls.
O.T Morpho has denied the claims, adding that there was no algorithm introduced into its systems maintaining a linear gap between Odinga and Kenyatta.

“We have conducted two audits which both confirmed no piracy or intrusion into our systems during the August 8 polls. No suspicious activity or hacking has been identified,”he said.
The firm plans to sue for libel.
