Gospel musician Hope Kid has disclosed details of alleged three some with college student and his counterpart DK Kwenye Beat.
In February, the two artists were forced to apologize following sexual abuse reports by a Nakuru woman.
The 23-year-old claimed the two had lured her into a three-some, infecting her with herpes.
The reports caused a stir online, with a section of netizens calling for the arrest and prosecution of the two.
In a recent interview with Pulse, the artist disclosed that following the ridicule they headed for a test and neither of the two had herpes.
“None of us had herpes. Even the office of the DPP said the whole thing was a waste of time,” he said.
Grilled on how he met the lass, the artist said she had contacted him for a gig, and one thing led to another.
“The lady had been my friend, and we chatted from time to time. She had reached out wanting to be a model on my songs, but the photos she posted on Instagram were too revealing for my brand. I just told her I would hook her up with any secular artistes if something came up,” Hope Kid stated.
The artist blamed Vlogger Xtian Dela – accused of spearheading the framing – for making up the story.
“Xtian has had beef with DK for the longest time, and this was his way of getting back,” he said.
The Delilah hitmaker revealed that the expose didn’t go far for lack of basic facts.
He noted that the Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA), which had vowed to fight for the woman, went under after realizing the whole thing was made up.
Hope Kid stated, “When more details of what happened came out, and they realised there was no mileage to be made, FIDA backed off. Even Xtian and Kate Kamau (actress) who had been vocal about the whole thing, went under. They did not even go to Nakuru to give the lady any support.”
