The Ngirita Family is still in remand since the court ruled that their papers were not properly filed.
Ann Ngirita and her mother Lucy Ngirita’s bond application was dismissed by the Anti-Corruption Court Magistrate, Douglas Ogoti after it was discovered that some of their documents were not properly filed.
The family including 37 other suspects were granted Sh.1 million cash bail or Sh.5 million bond and Sh.2 million surety each by High Court Justice, Hedwig Ong’undi

Sixteen suspects, including NYS ex-director general Richard Ndubai, were released on bail after their sureties were approved.
However, the Ngirita family including Phyllis Ngirita, Jeremiah Ngirita and his wife, Catherine Wanjiku’s sureties are yet to be verified by the police.
The entire family is still in remand.
