NASA supporters who claimed football sensation Micheal Olunga as theirs attacked president Uhuru Kenyatta after he tweeted a congratulatory message to the player.
Micheal Olunga became the first Kenya to ever score in the spanish Laliga and he made his debut by scoring three goal. Micheal Olunga also became the first Girona Fc player to score a hat trick. His team won the match 6-0 against La Palmas.
The NASA supporters would however told President Uhuru that he should instead go and congratulate Githeriman as Olunga should only be celebrated by NASA as he was their own.
We celebrate him as NASA. You can go ahead and celebrate Githeri man

President Uhuru was even told to leave the NRM brigade alone. He was reminded that in the football world the NASA people were dominating.

Some followers even judged the timing of his message telling him that he was late and the real president according to them had already congratulated him.

Tiga wana mwici uyu… Congratulating hard working kenyans as who? You are illlegitimate president.. Wewe unajua tu kuiba kura na kuua wakenya.. Those little kids you killed to retain stolen power could have grown to become Olungas. Shame on you

Some even made fun of the people the resident has gived the HSC title telling him to give them a ball to play then congratulate them after one outscores the other.
Pea Robert Alai na Githeriman mpira wacheze "one-touch" alafu ucongratulate mshindi… Tafadhali achana na sisi…

Last year when the Kenyan club Gor Mahia won the Kenyan premier league President Uhuru was also warned against sending congratulatory messages as the club was deemed to be affiliated to NASA.
The extent of the tribalism in Kenya seems to be greatly deepening even through the social arenas that have nothing to do with politics.
