Jubilee legislators are present in parliament discussing proposed names to the House Business Committee. The opposition snubbed the sitting and asked the Speaker Justin Muturi to halt the process.
Muturi, not heeding to their request accused the opposition of trying to hold the house hostage. He said the legislators were lazy citing the fact that they did not submit their preferred committee members.
“This House under my watch will not be held hostage by members or parties that are exhibiting indolence,” the Speaker said.
