NASA Leaders Meet Diplomats Day After Asking Them To Keep Off Kenyan Affairs

Foreign envoys led by US Ambassador to Kenya Robert Godec and British High Commissioner Nic Hailey alongside religious leaders and business leaders met with NASA leaders today to try and foster dialogue between the government and the opposition.

The envoys urged the leaders and Kenyans to engage in an open, transparent national conversation to address underlying issues & strengthen institutions to help Kenya. In the tweet Robert Godec also urged the leaders to uphold the constitution.

The NASA leaders were led by Raila Odinga from ODM, Musalia Mudavadi from Amani National Congress (ANC) and Kivutha Kibwana from Wiper.

This meetings comes after NASA leader Raila Odinga had asked the foreign envoys stop interfering in Kenyan matters..

NASA said that they will be swearing in Raila Odinga as the peoples president on December 12 amidst calls from government to refrain from swearing in or face treason charges.
