NASA coalition has condemned the re-arrest of Embakasi East Mp, Paul Ongili otherwise known as Babu Owino shortly after his release on bail.
The opposition has accused the government of resorting to ‘persecution, banditry and torture tactics where application and observation of the rule of law’ would do.
They have said that the legislator’s re-arrest is meant to intimidate other law makers in a bid to cause them to ‘toe the line.’
NASA has also asked the President to not use the courts to intimidate its citizens and the legislators.
