Nakuru MCAs Threaten To Impeach Speaker Over Sh100,000 Christmas Token

After failing to secure car loans and mortgage worth Sh5million without security, Nakuru MCAs now demand for Sh100,000 Christmas token.

The County legislators have reportedly resorted to blackmailing accounting clerks and threatening to impeach the assembly speaker Joel Kairu.

The MCAs have been raffling feathers with the assembly administration according to The Standard over stringent measures introduced barring them from getting car loans and mortgages without security.

Apparently, the MCAs have also been pushing for retreats, training seminars and meetings outside the county so as to earn allowances and have so far pocketed Sh20million in the first 100 days in office.

In the 100 days, they have been to retreats in Nairobi for seven days, Naivasha for four days, Machakos for six days and Naivasha again for two days.
