Nakuru Man Accused Of Defiling Girl Detained As Officer Allegedly Falsifies Test Results

A Nakuru man was last week on Thursday arrested for allegedly defiling a minor at Kampi Moto, Nakuru County.

The man has been identified as Samson Chelelgo. He was on the same day arrested and taken to the nearest healthcare together with the girl for tests.

At this particular facility, tests came back negative.

It is at this point that the girl’s mother sought to drop the charges against Mr Chelelgo. She went back to Menengai Police Station where she asked that the alleged perpetrator is released.

Her pleas fell on deaf ears as the investigating officer only identified as Pamela alias Owuor as she is a member of Prophet David Owuor’s Repentance and Holiness Ministries, insisted on having the girl undergo further tests.

Officer Pamela had the girl taken to Mogotio Sub County Hospital, a facility that is some 20 kilometres away Nakuru.

Here, the results came back positive for defilement.

A source privy to the details indicates that Mr Chelelgo was framed. And when reached to try and prove the suspect’s case, Pamela was rude and dismissive.

In a call recording heard by Kahawa Tungu, the officer asks our source to stop texting her like a “stupid” person.

It is still not clear why the investigating officer chose a hospital so far away when she could have had the tests done at Nairobi Women’s Hospital, which is closer.
