A 24-year old female warder at Muranga GK Prison was found dead in her house on Wednesday morning.
According to reports, Pauline Wangari, was found lifeless with several wounds on the head and chest in her rental house at Kiharu estate.
Pauline’s mysterious death has happened barely a month since her colleague from Nakuru GK Prison warder Caroline Jepchirchir was also found dead.
Jepchirchir’s body, however was found in a thicket at Githiolo village in Subukia sub-county, after she went missing.

Upon the recovery of her body, like Pauline, Jepchirchir had injuries on her head and chest.
A postmortem examination carried on her body revealed that she was strangled to death.
According to an autopsy report by Government pathologist Titus Ngulungu, the body of the deceased had blood clots on the neck, nose, tongue and on both hands.

The examination was carried out at the Nakuru War Memorial Hospital mortuary.
Chepchirchir uncle noted: “The doctor informed us after the postmortem that Caroline was strangled. The body had blood clots on the neck, tongue, nose and hands.”
Two suspects; Raymond Kiplimo and Joseph Kairu were arrested and later arraigned in court as it was claimed that they were the last people to be seen together with the deceased.
