Gatundu South Constituency Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has sponsored 100 Gor Mahia fans to go watch Sunday’s Confederation Cup tie against hosts Yanga SC at National Stadium, Dar Es Salaam.
Fans, who are ready to make the long trip are required to assemble at City Stadium early morning Saturday with their travel documents.
Kuria, a self-confessed K’Ogalo fan was present on Sunday alongside the club’s patron Hon. Raila Odinga as Gor mauled their arch rivals AFC Leopards in the Mashemeji Derby.
In 2015 he flew to Dar to watch the team take on Azam FC in the final of the Cecafa Kagame Cup.
Kuria has in the past hosted K’Ogalo at his backyard for a friendly match against a Gatundu select side.
A win for Gor Sunday will see them inch closer to becoming the first Kenyan club to reach the quarter-finals of the continental championship.
The team is currently placed second in Group D of the competition after three matches behind Algeria’s USM Alger.
