Police detectives investigating the murder of 28 year old, Monica Kimani, have found a purse that is assumed to have belonged to the slain girl, in Jacque Maribe’s house.
Jacque was arrested on Saturday, to be arraigned in court, after investigators found some documents, a wallet and a purse believed to belong to Monica Kimani, in the TV journalist’s house.
Maribe’s house help was also questioned, revealing that, Joe Irungu (Jacque’s fiance) after returning from the deceased’s Kilimani home burnt his white Kanzu, which he wore on the night he was seen with Monica.

Investigators also searched Jacque’s parents house in Buru Buru, where it is reported that more information was recovered that would help with investigations.
Detectives also recovered a gun believed to have been used by Joe, in a neighbour’s house, identified as Brian Kisaine, in Royal Park Estate, Lang’ata.
More of the journalists close family and friends have been summoned to record statements, that investigators say would help aid in the investigations.
Meanwhile, Joe Irungu is being held at Muthaiga police station after being linked as a rime suspect to the killing of Monica Kimani.
