Education CS Amina Mohamed has dissolved the Moi Girls board of management as authorities investigate the Sunday defilement incident.
Addressing the press at Jogoo House, the CS has directed that the parents, teacher association (PTA) also be dissolved effective immediately.
The principal Jael Mureithi has according to the Teachers Service Commission CEO Nancy Macharia, opted for an early retirement and taking up her post on an interim basis will be Florence Omusula.
The CS has also directed that non-teaching staff in all schools be vetted afresh. She also warned that private schools found to have employed teachers not registered with TSC will be de-registered and BOM and PTAs will be dissolved in the case of public schools.
Parents have also been asked to assemble at the school on June 7 to appoint another PTA and students urged to report back to school on 10 June.
