Activist Wafula Buke has revealed that disgraced NRM General Miguna Miguna was one of the biggest cowards when they were students at the University of Nairobi.
According to the ODM Director of Strategy, Miguna would sing gospel songs to assauage his fears while also using short-cuts like pleading guilty to avoid detention at the height of Moi’s clampdown on student activists.
In a Facebook post, Wafula revealed that Miguna would cry loudly while singing hymns. However, he indicated that we shouldn’t be so hard on Miguna for being such a coward then as he had just lost his mother while facing persecution by Moi.
Miguna Miguna invited the commentary by Wafula Buke after refusing to apply for visa to enter Kenya as a tourist saying that Moi used such tricks on “people like Wafula Buke” while students at UoN. The fiery NRM General revealed that while people like Buke fell for the tricks, he didn’t fall for them and so he was not going to fall for “Jubilee’s tricks.”
Wafula Buke revealed that its Miguna’s habit to “step on peoples heads to rise higher.”
Miguna Miguna escaped the country during the Moi’s leadership to live in Canada where he gained citizenship. Many have called him a coward for running away from the country and opined that he is desperate to gain credibility as a brave fighter which he is not.
