Miguna Miguna has been very vocal about his support for the National resistance movement. He claims that he was rigged out of the elections where he vied for the gubernatorial position.
Leaders from the oppositions have claimed that they have received imminent threats to their lives. Boni Khalwale even stated that he was being trailed by the people unknown to him. He suspected them to be officers from the flying squad.
Miguna is alleged to have fled the Country earlier in the month to avoid arrest for planning the one million man match that was to meet Raila Odinga from his trip abroad.
