Malik Obama Insults Barrack, Auma In Twitter Rant

It is no secret that the relationship between the 44th POTUS Barrack Obama and his half brother Malik Obama has been strained since the former pledged his support for Donald Trump.

Malik, founder Barack H. Obama Foundation on Wednesday night went on a Twitter rant where he insulted Barrack and took jibes at his sister, Auma Obama who had the latter over for the Sauti Kuu Foundation launch in Kogelo.

The very outspoken brother said that the former President did not support nor help his family while in power.

In 2016 the Post reported that Malik was operating the foundation, named after his late father Barrack Obama Snr. as “an off-book the books” operation which was later given its stamp of approval by the IRS, drawing speculation of the President’s involvement.

But Malik who was POTUS’ best man during his wedding denied being helped by his brother.

“My brother didn’t help me at all. He wanted me to shut it down when I set it up. He hasn’t supported me at all.”

It has also been said that the President did not support his half-brother in 2013 when he sought to become Siaya Governor.

On his Twitter page, the former accountant further claims that Auma and Barrack did not give audience to their aunt Hawa Auma, 76, who was turned away during the Sauti Kuu launch.

“Auntie Hawa Auma wasn’t even invited to Sauti Kuu launch. And she came all the way for it,” he complains.

In 2015, Mama Hawa sought help from Barrack to help build her a home as hers almost caved in.

“I appeal to my nephew (Barrack) to intervene and help like his father used to,” she said, adding that close relatives have stood in the way of her getting help from then world’s most powerful man.

The eldest of the Obama kin also accuses the former first lady Michelle Obama of turning their brother against the family. He also wonders why the former FLOTUS and her daughters, Sasha and Malia did not make the Kenyan trip.

“And Michelle dancing to Beyonce while all this happening,” he says on Twitter.

He also faults Barrack and Auma for having Siaya Governor Cornel Rasanga frisked like an ordinary Kenyan as he made his way into the foundation launch on July 16.

“And also all those who don’t like me can also go jump in the lake and drown!” he concludes but chastises the media probably for reporting that his wife was blocked from attending the star studded launch.

Malik has in the past made it clear that his brother being in the limelight has hindered him from living a normal life. In fact two years ago, he said,”Honestly, I’ll be happy when my brother is out of office, and I will finally be out of the limelight and be able to live like a human being.”
