    Turkey club Malatyaspor have hit the headlines after they stepped out wearing t-shirts bearing the image of Arsenal star Mesut Ozil on the front.

    The shirts also had the message: “We are all you, say no to racism.”

    Malatyaspor were taking part in a pre-season warm-up against Gazisehir Gaziantep on Saturday.

    Ozil recently quite the German national team citing discrimination against him.

    His trouble with DFB and a section of the German public started before the World Cup when he met with Turkish president Reccip Erdogan, whose regime is viewed from some quarters as dictatorial.

    Ozil, who won the 2014 World Cup with German, traces his roots to Turkey and the country has stood by him all through the storm.
