Business news anchor, Laban Cliff Onserio is set to leave his job at NTV after being appointed to State House under the Presidential Delivery Unit (PDU).
The journalist has been at NTV for the past 5 years and is set to leave in order to join State House’s communications department.
In his resignation letter, Laban Cliff thanked Nation Media Group and his colleagues for giving him the opportunity to grow his career.
The presenter, who also boasts of being a rally driver is set to marry his fiance later on this year.
“2018, will definitely be one to remember as mark exactly 5 years in media, launch my motorsport career as a rally driver and as I marry the love of my life, Laura. I thank God for the gift of health in my 30 years on earth and pray for more,” he said.
The Presidential delivery unit is spearheaded by Chief of Staff, Nzioka Waita. The unit leads the presidential plans into actions.
Mr Waita and Laban Cliff recently drove in a rally together and his new appointment has many wondering if that is what opened doors for him, but Mr Onserio has rubbished the claims saying that he is competent enough to get the job.
