Kenyans on Twitter (KoT) were an unhappy lot after Kenya Television Network (KTN) awarded one of their ardent fans with a 40 inch flat screen tv.
Comedian Kelvin Agure resides in Kibra and only shot up to fame after a picture of him, seven kids and a dog watching “KTN News on a box” went viral.

The KTN team went searching for the funny man who apparently is a big fan of Sports journalist Hassan Jumaa and Zilizala Viwanjani programme.
But KoT thought the broadcaster should have found another way to reward Agure, with a job perhaps.
A 40' screen in Kibera? Hammtakii mema. He'll be more safer and productive with cash that TV.

How would a TV help improve his life? With the githeri media we have, that would only cause depression to him. This is the generation who think having a car and a digital TV translates to good life #KTNChangingLives

My point exactly. They don't need the TV. In fact it will kill his creativity.
