AFC Leopards woes deepened on Saturday when they went down 2-0 against Mathare United at the Machakos’ Kenyatta Stadium.

The loss was Ingwe’s sixth on the bounce in the Kenyan Premier League this season – amplifying relegation worries inside the den.

Ingwe remain second from bottom in the KPL standings with a paltry ten points from 14 matches.

Once again the coach Andre Cassa Mbungo’s side succumbed to late goals after a spirited fight as the game looked headed for a draw.

Substitute Ronald Reagan opened the scoring in the 86th minute before Tyron Otieno doubled the lead with two minutes before the final whistle.

The victory took the Slum Boys to second on the log with 29 points off leaders Bandari, who edged out visiting Nzoia Sugar 1-0 in another game of the day.
