Kisumu County Chief Of Staff Arrested For Threatening To Kill Governor And Deputy Governor

The Kisumu county chief of staff Mr. Ouya Kalausi is in police custody after he threatened to shoot the governor and deputy governor.

He also threatened to shoot himself after shooting the two. Its is reported that  the chief of staff forcefully tried to gain entry into the governors office by threatening the security officers.

He has since been released. Details as to why he wanted to shoot the two is still unknown. It is also not clear if both governor Anyang Nyong’o and his deputy were present at the time.

Kisumu county commander of police said that they received a distress call from the county headquarters.

Ouya Kalausi had three years ago drew his gun at a funeral threatening to shoot mourners.
