Rapper King Kaka Auctions Album Cover Art To Keep Girls In School

Rapper King Kaka held an auction for the cover art on his ‘Eastlando Royalty album’ which is set to launch on 30 November.

The auction was set so as to promote his album and also get funds that would be used to fund the King Kaka Sanitary Bank Campaign, which he runs to help keep young girls in school.

The album cover art was unveiled at a cocktail auction party hosted by the musician and sponsored by Songa by Safaricom.

The art which was done by Pointblank and painted by Eliamin Ink, got auctioned at KSh32,000.

“Another Win!!!!! Yesterday we managed to have another first in Kenya, We unveiled my album Eastlando Royalty Album Cover , And in the process we auctioned the painting and all proceeds will go to the King Kaka Sanitary Bank Campaign, 533 girls will not miss school for a whole term. Asante to everyone who made jana possible,” King Kaka posted.

His new album has 18 songs which feature various artists from Africa and USA’s famous comedian Tracy Morgan.

Kaka and his daughter Gweth were recently appointed as Remy Martins and Marini Kids brand ambassadors respectively.
