Speaker Justin Muturi can no longer handle issues objectively and colluded with the Jubilee leadership to remove (him) Nandi MP, Alfred Keter as the chairperson Labour committee.
Speaking moments after his colleagues passed a vote of no confidence, the legislator accused Muturi of holding meetings at state house where they plotted to get rid of him.
”The Speaker broke all the rules when he attended the meeting at State House with Hon, Aden Daule and the entire Jubilee party MPs,” he told journalists.
”We expect the Speaker to be neutral because he is the referee in the House,” Keter lamented.
Muturi, the de-whipped MP said, informed them of the party’s ploy to remove them from house leadership well beforehand.
Keter, who is also a fierce critic of William Ruto maintained that he and his ousted counterparts will not give up their positions.
”It is wrong. It is immoral and we are not going to allow that. We will not relent. We are still the chairmen of these committees,” he added.

Daule on the other hand defended the Jubilee MPs saying that they did not take into consideration the requirement of regional balance.
”I am not more educated than our colleagues but once you come to the house of Jubilee, the principle of equity must be looked into That is what president Uhuru Kenyatta is championing for.”
