Kenya has announced 105 new COVID-19 cases from a sample size of 3,573 tested in the last 24hrs. The country’s caseload is now at 104,306.
The cumulative tests so far conducted are 1,269,346. Of the new cases, 88 are Kenyans while 17 are foreigners.
On a sad note, 4 patients have succumbed to the virus bringing the death toll to 1,827.
Consequently, 49 patients have recovered from the virus bringing the tally for recoveries to 85,626. 34 from the Home-Based and Isolation Care while 15 are from various health facilities.

333 patients are currently admitted to various health facilities countrywide, while 1,281 patients are on Home Based Isolation and Care.
51 patients are in the Intensive Care Unit, 23 of whom are on ventilatory support and 24 on supplemental oxygen. 4 patients are on observation.
Another 9 patients are separately on supplementary oxygen with all in the general wards. No patient is in the High Dependency Unit (HDU).
County distribution is as follows: Nairobi 68, Kiambu 12, Laikipia 5, Kajiado 4, Mombasa 3, Machakos 3, Nakuru 2, Nyeri 2, Uasin Gishu 2, Kericho 1, Kisumu 1, Kwale 1 and Mandera 1.
