The grip reaper has pitched tent at the Kenya Union of Rugby and is working overtime.
Thins year alone, the union has lost five celebrated players of the game prompting players and stakeholders to set today(Saturday 11th Nov 2017) as a day for special prayers at the Nairobi Chapel, Ngong road.

The five are Andrew Wekesa who until his death was a forward for Homeboyz, KCB’s inside center James Kilonzo who was fatally shot in the chest by the assailants as he withdrew money at an M-Pesa outlet in Kamoteini, Kasarani, USIU lost Mike Ouma, Emmanuel Musalia of Western Bulls, Nakuru’s Mike Okombe who was stabbed by his girlfriend and while the Country was still reeling from shock, Homeboyz skipper Peter Wekesa also died.
Tomorrow 12th November, Nakuru will hold a major fundraising for its fallen hero Mike Okombe whose burial has been postponed to Thursday next week to accommodate players who had weekend commitments at the Nakuru Athletics Club from 2PM.
