Thieves have made away with Sh50 million from Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB), Thika Branch.
The branch manager says that the unidentified people broke into the bank’s strong room through underground tunnels.

In July, Equity Bank Kangari branch was broken into and Sh600,000 was similarly made away with but the suspects are said to have had keys to the bank’s doors.
The criminals emptied the safes and the ATMs between 9.30 pm and 2.30 am.
But according to then acting county police commander, Johnstone Limo, it was an inside job.
