KCB Bank has been unveiled as the Tanzanian Premier League co-sponsor to the tune of Sh1.8 million for the forthcoming 2018-19 season.
Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) confirmed the new deal in a tweet:
“Tanzania Football Federation and KCB Bank have signed a co-sponsorship deal for the Tanzanian Premier League for the 2018-19 season worth TSh. 420 million.”

Speaking at the unveiling ceremony on Monday, Cosmas Kimario, the Managing Director KCB Bank Tanzania, said the partnership is meant to grow the game.
“By partnering with the Tanzania Football Federation we are keen to ensure that our football grows,” Cosmas said.

In Kenya where the bank is headquartered, KCB sponsors National Super League side KCB FC and KCB Rugby Club.
Telecommunication giants Vodacom remains the title sponsor of the Tanzania’s top flight which resumes next month.
