Bungoma High court has nullified the election of Webuye West Member of parliament Dan Wanyama.

Wanyama was elected under the Jubilee party ticket and beat his former chief aide Philip Wamoto who vied on an ANC ticket in a hotly contested seat.

The court declared the election null and void and ordered for a by-election.

The former New ford Kenya MP who defected to Jubilee came to the limelight recently when he declared to a church congregation in his constituency saying that Raila will never be president and that history will repeat itself and he will retire without being president just like his father Mr Jaramogi Odinga.
