Jubilee Leader and Former Nakuru Town MP David Manyara is being investigated by the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) over hate speech remarks made last week.
Francis Ole Kaparo, NCIC Chairman on Sunday said the former legislator is under investigation over remarks made during protests against the Supreme Court meant to arouse anger or violence.
The protests held in Nakuru were against the SCOK judges who annulled the Presidential election.
“I ask the public to be patient and wait for the investigations to be concluded. Action will be taken if he is found guilty,” Kaparo said.
Manyara, who is the Jubilee Party Nakuru chairman said: “Let Raila be warned that we are ready for war.
“He has been telling us that he is the only one with the people behind him. We want to tell him that from today the real Kenyans are going to rise up.
