The IEBC on 15 September asked to meet both NASA and Jubilee for a joint meeting on Wednesday to update on poll preparations and address concerns.

President Uhuru Kenyatta’s party has however called for the electoral body to postpone the meeting to allow for Supreme Court detailed judgement.

The commission had summoned the two parties last week but the meeting did not take off as Jubilee was a ‘no show’ and Raila Odinga’s NASA walked out of the meeting.

Odinga had stated that his party would not have closed door meetings with the body but will have public forums instead.
