Journalist Harassed As Police Lob Teargas Into Raila Odinga’s Office


PolicePolice Officers this afternoon lobbed teargas at Raila Odinga’s Capitol Hill office as the NASA leaders who had gathered there to prepare to head to the demonstrations in the CBD.

A journalist who was covering the incident was harassed by the officers who stripped him of his camera.

There is police is heavy police presence around the CBD following the directive by Acting interior CS Fred Matiang’i banning the NASA demonstrations from taking place.

James Orengo however maintained that the protests would go on as planned.
