Jaguar, Babu Owino Asked To Issue Apology For Fighting Within Parliament

The powers and privileges committee in parliament has asked that Embakasi East MP Babu Owino and His Starehe counterpart Charles “jaguar” Njagua apologize for fighting within Parliament buildings.

Though the two leaders already apologized to each other and made up, the powers and privileges committee have said that the two had to issue an apology for their conduct.

The fight started ensued Babu Owino failed to recognize President Kenyatta as the elected President in October 2017 after the botched August 1 elections. In his apology Charles Jaguar Kanyi asked that  Babu Owino should respect the President.

“What happened (in Parliament) was very unfortunate. I forgive Babu Owino. I also ask him to forgive me. However, I insist that Babu Owino must respect the president. Should he fail to respect the Head of State – again –, I will deal with him,” said Jaguar, when a addressing a press conference at the media centre in Parliament on Wednesday, October 11.
