Citizen TV journalist, Jacque Maribe has been declared fit to stand trial after undergoing a mental assessment test on Thursday.
According to Jacque’s lawyer, Katwa Kigen, Maribe and her fiancé Joe “Jowie” Irungu are set to take plea on Monday as earlier scheduled.
The duo did not take plea on Thursday as Maribe had to undergo mental assessment first.

Maribe and Jowie are facing charges of the murder of Monica Kimani who was found dead in her Kilimani apartment on September 20.
The third suspect, Brian Kassaine was released on bail on Thursday and directed to surrender his passport to the DCI offices. He is also supposed to report to the DCI every Thursday for the next 2 months.
