Keroche Industries Heiress Annerlisa Muigai has been sued over a Sh. 19.9 million load which she borrowed on behalf of her ex boyfriend from a micro finance.
According to the city millionaire Annerlisa took loans totalling up to Sh.13 million and gave security of two cars. A range Rover Evoque and an Audi Q7.
The plaintiff said that he had been called by the flying squad to hand over the Range rover which was reported as stolen.
Records showed the vehicle was registered under Keroche Industries and that he had to give it back or face the challenge of being charged with handling stolen property.
He said that the reason he sued Miss Muigai as she had become elusive and was no longer picking his calls.
Annerlisa Muigai admitted to have sourced for the loans from the businessman but said that the interests were illegal oppressive and extortionist. She stated that the loan was taken on behalf of Ben Kangangi and that was a fact that was disclosed to the millionaire. In her defence she said that Kangangi was to be the principal defendant.
She said that the businessman altered the original contract by agreeing to recover the monies from the cars.
