Its Museveni Again, NRM Endorses Ugandan President For A Sixth Term

The National Resistance Movement (NRM) in Uganda has endorsed Yoweri Museveni to run for his sixth term as the President of Uganda.

The party settled for Museveni as its candidate for the 2021 after the Constitutional court in Uganda removed the presidential age limit which was place at 75. The Supreme Court is currently hearing the petition challenging the Constitutional courts decision.

Museveni had in 2016 indicated tat this would not be the right time for him to exit from the seat as he still had things to do.

Lately he has faced opposition from youthful opposition leaders . Singer  Rober Kyangulanyi popularly known as Bobi Wine is the latest victim of resisting Museveni’s rule. the Kyalenga hit maker was arrested tortured and charged with treason.

He said that he may consider running for presidency in 2021.He said tat the only way Museveni would be removed is if many Ugandans registered as voters.
