Photo sharing app, Instagram users are facing a downtime after the app stopped working on Wednesday morning.
Users could not access their profiles or view pictures of those that they follow and could only see a blank page on their phones and a message that the app “couldn’t refresh feed”.
The web page also shows a blank page and an error message that “5xx Server Error”.

This is not the first time the app is having a downtime in the past few months.
The app’s two founders left the company two days ago after reportedly disagreing with Facebook owner, Mark Zuckerberg over how to run the company.
Facebook was also hacked over the weekend with up to 50 million users being affected in the security lapse.
Over one billion people users use the Instagram app each month.
The application is back up and running.
