The inspector General of police, Joseph Boinnet has warned revelers who plan to over indulge after the removal of NTSA officers from the road.
He declared that he would ensure that the people who would indulge and drive will be arrested.
“I know some people are saying today being Friday they will drink as much as they want because NTSA is off the roads. Be warned, we will arrest you!” Joseph Boinet said during a press conference.

Joseph Boinnet said that people should not take advantage of the removal of NTSA.
President Uhuru Kenyatta ordered that the NTSA officers to go back to the office and off the roads so as to focus on policies and let the traffic police to deal with the roads management.
Road accidents have been rampant with Kenyans blaming the NTSA for the increase in the number of accidents especially during the festive season.
