The IEBC has released a statement welcoming the determination by the Supreme court saying that it was evidence that the commission conducted a free and fair election on October 26.
The IEBC also said that they will wait for the detailed judgement in order for them to commence their post election evaluation as well as have initiatives that will enhance the development of the institution and promote electoral democracy.

It seems that the supreme court ruling has offered a sigh of relief to the commission which has been under siege from all corners to conduct a free,fair credible and transparent election.
The August 8 poll was nullified by the supreme court and IEBC was asked to conduct a fresh elections in accordance to the law and the constitution.

They managed to surpass the controversial memos, the resignations, withdrawals and accusations of being fraudulent and partisan and managed to conduct an election that has been upheld by the supreme court of Kenya.
