The campaign period is with us which means that politicians will go above and beyond to make sure that they are heard.

Jubilee politicians brought Nyamira to a stand still trying to sell the UhuRuto duo to the residents. They were led by Gatundu South Mp, Moses Kuria, Isaac Mwaura and Amos Kimunya.

The legislators outlined the Jubilee government achievements and gave reasons for their re-election.

The people of Nyamira were however not buying whatever they were selling. The politicians are said to have been booed and heckled so much that the rally had to be stopped.

There were chants of ‘NASA and Unga’ as Moses Kuria tried to address the people. He told the crowd that Raila Odinga, Musalia Mudavadi and Kalonzo Musyoka had failed to clinch the presidency seven times in their previous attempts.

It is said that the rally turned chaotic. The Jubilee leaders are said to have quickly packed up and left before stones started flying.

Cabinet Secretary for Interior Security, Joseph Nkaissery had earlier issued a directive threatening to arrest those who heckle during political rallies.
