A form four Orero Secondary School student in HomaBay county has been arrested for being in possession of a gun.
The student is said to have been showing off the illegal pistol to his colleagues who alerted the school principal.
Confirming the incident was Homabay police boss Esau Ochorokodi saying that it took a two hour interrogation for the student to finally disclose the whereabouts of the American pistol.
He admitted that he had obtained the gun from a relative living in the United States Of America.

Fellow students felt threatened by the student who had threatened to shoot anyone who did not give in to his demands.
He will be charged in court for being in possession of an unlicensed firearm.
