Ex Kilome MP Harun Mwau has filed a petition at Supreme Court to challenge the re election of president Uhuru kenyatta on the October 26 polls. He has listed the Independent electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) as the first respondent, Wafula Chebukati as second respondent and Uhuru Kenyatta as the third respondent
Today is the last day for filing the petition for filing a petition against the presidential elections. This petition by Harun Mwau is the first to be received by the registry today and more petitions are expected to be filed by midnight of today as is the constitutional prerequisite.

So far one petition had been filed to challenge the fresh presidential election that was held on October 26, one by activist Okiya Omtatah who claimed that the October 26 election was irregular before it was held, was invalid, null and void because of the decision of the NASA candidates withdraw.
