Harambee Stars Defender ‘Cheche’ Returns To Leopards

Harambee Stars defender David “Cheche” Ochieng’ has signed a short time contract to return to AFC Leopards, the club has confirmed.

The 29-year old former Tusker man was presented to the media today.

“AFC Leopards is delighted to announce the signing of Kenyan international David ‘Cheche’ Ochieng on a short term contract,” the club posted on facebook.

Cheche played for the 12-time KPL champions during his formative years before leaving for the Brewers.

He was a free agent after leaving IF Brommapojkarna (Sweden). Cheche has also played for New York Cosmos FC (USA) and Al Tawoon (Saudi Arabia).

He was recently named in Harambee Stars squad for the final fixture of the Afcon 2019 qualifier away to Ghana on 23rd March.

Leopards are battling to stay away from relegation and Cheche’s experience is expected to be a major boost for them.
