Bishop Margaret Wanjiru has revealed that she had already struck an agreement with Nairobi governor Mike Sonko to be his deputy governor.
According to Citizen Digital the head Bishop at the Jesus is Alive Ministries said that she had a private meeting with Sonko who had asked her to bring a witness but she declined.
“Sonko asked me to get a witness during our agreement but I said no, we were in a private meeting and God was our witness,” Bishop Margaret Wanjiru said.
Margaret Wanjiru said that her campaigns at the grassroots delivered Mike Sonko the gubernatorial seat.
She also took a swipe at Polycarp Igathe saying that if chosen for the job she would take on the issues head on and not even think of resigning
Margaret Wanjiru will face 22 other candidates that Mike Sonko had listed as possible Igathe successors.
