Gor Mahia benefited from three points and two goals after Mount Kenya failed to show up for their league game in Machakos on Thursday.

United players failed to make the short trip for lack of transport means.

The match was to kickoff at 3.00 pm but after waiting for the opponents to arrive for 30 minutes, the match officials called it off and awarded K’Ogalo three points and two goals as per regulations.

United, whose patron is politician Moses Kuria, is in financial turmoil and have not paid salaries for the past seven months, according to reports.
