Gor Mahia hammered Zoo FC 4-0 in the Kenyan Premier League to record their first win of the season at the Kasarani Stadium on Jamhuri Day.
Ivorian striker Ephrem Guikan grabbed a brace with Samuel Onyango and Erissa Ssekisambu netting a goal each for the humongous win.
Gor Mahia lost their season opener 2-1 away to Bandari in Mombasa over the weekend and today’s victory was coach Hassan Oktay’s first since joining the club last week.
Guikan got the opener with just a minute on the clock before completing his brace from the spot in the 16th minute.
Onyango made it 3-0 before half time before Ugandan import Erissa Ssekisumba opened his Gor Mahia account with the fourth in the 72nd minute.

Gor Mahia now shift their focus to Sunday’s Champions League first round first leg clash against Lobi Stars at the same venue.
An aggregate win will see them through to the group stage of the flagship continental club championship for the very first time.
