Goons disrupted a press conference that was call by the Nairobi Central Business District Association (NCBDA) on Monday morning at the Boulevard Hotel to address the failures of the Nairobi County government. The goons claimed that the association is out to taint Mike Sonko’s name.
According to a video doing rounds on social media, the former chairperson of the association, Timothy Muriuki was being pushed and roughed up by two men and they threatened to throw him into the swimming pool of the Hotel where the press conference was to take place. The goons then escorted Mr. Muriuki out of the hotel as they tore his press release and manhandled him in front of the cameras.
