The immediate former National Assembly Clerk Justin Bundi has died.
Bundi succumbed to cancer on Saturday evening while undergoing treatment at Aga Khan Hospital, Nairobi.
The news were confirmed by the Speaker of the National Assembly Justin Muturi, who said that Muturi will
“Mr Bundi, a personal friend whom I have known since our days in high school succumbed to cancer last evening while undergoing treatment at Aga Khan Hospital, Nairobi,” Muturi said in his message of condolences.
Bundi retired from the civil service in March 2017.
Bundi had also served as the personal assistant to former House Speaker Francis ole Kaparo and a commissioner to the Commission of Revenue Allocation.
He had also served as a District Officer.

“On behalf of Members of Parliament, especially those whom he served as Clerk, and the entire fraternity of Parliament, I wish to send my heartfelt condolences to his family and friends,” said Speaker Muturi.
His successor at the National Assembly Michel Rotich Sialai termed him as a dedicated servant, whom they shared a moment a day before his death.
“We are sorry to his family for his loss. I visited him on Friday. It is unfortunate we have lost a dedicated servant,” Sialai said.
