Free State Stars have confirmed that former AFC Leopards coach Marko Visiljevic has joined the club as an assistant coach to Nikola Kavazovic.

The two, who worked together at Leopards last year, reunite at the struggling South African side a few months after they separated with Nikola abandoning Ingwe even before the KPL new season kicked off in December after receiving an offer from Free States Stars.

Marko, 26, on the other hand after taking charge for about two months threw in the towel in February after a string of poor performances which left Leopards hanging over the relegation zone.

In nine Kenyan Premier League matches he only manged two wins. Leopards are win-less since and are now rock bottom in the KPL standings.

Before coming to Kenya, the duo worked together at Botswana’s Township Rollers.

Marko finds a relegation threatened Free States Stars who are second from bottom in the Premier Soccer League standings.

The Serbian will be in the dugout when Ea Lla Koto take on fellow relegation battlers Black Leopards this coming weekend.
