A man on Wednesday killed his wife in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County.
According to his neighbors, the man is reported to have injured the wife on the neck using a kitchen knife.
The neighbors added that the couple had engaged in a domestic fight prior to him picking up a knife and killing his wife, identified as Khanali Mwonobe.
Speaking on the incident, sister to the deceased, Emily Mwonobe, mentioned that she had received a phone call from the neighbors informing her of the death of her sibling.
Emily, who lives in Kakamega, stated that she later traveled to Eldoret where she found the husband burning the sister’s clothes before he tried to escape.
